Step 1: Come look! The best way to find the right school for your child is to visit in person. Call the school, 734-971-4633, to set up a personal tour, and to have an application/information packet mailed to you.
You may also call for a private School Tour or attend our Open House.

- Taste of HDS: Music and Movement October 14, 2012 3:30-4:30 and Super Scientist on November 18, 2012 3:30-4:30
- Open Houses will take place on Sunday, January 13, 2013 10:30am-12:30 pm
For reservations and more information, email or call the office at 734-971-4633. At these events you will have a chance to meet and talk with administrators and teachers, who will speak about the program in great depth.
Another way to see the school is to join our community at a school wide celebration or fair. Come see HDS students perform and show off their skills at one of these special events.
Step 2: Apply for admission! Return your child’s application with a $65 application fee, together with a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport, and the completed parent questionnaire by the first Monday in February. If your child is currently enrolled in another school, have your child’s current teacher complete the current teacher questionnaire (separate forms for children entering gan, entering first grade, and entering grades 2-5) and mail it to us, also by the first Monday in February. Applications received after the first Monday in February will be considered as space allows.
Step 3: Acceptance letters and tuition contracts for incoming students are mailed in February or after your child’s application has been reviewed. All acceptance packets include extensive information about applying for financial aid and a financial aid application.
Step 4: Sign tuition contracts by the first Monday in March, or within two weeks of receipt. If forms are received by the March due date, there will be a $75 discount on tuition and fees. Applicants for financial aid have until the first Monday in March or two weeks following the date of receiving notice of the financial aid award, whichever is later, to send back their signed tuition contracts.
