PTO Plays an Essential Role

“It is the mission of the Hebrew Day School of Ann Arbor's Parent-Teacher Organization to enhance the educational experience of our children by actively promoting meaningful parental involvement at HDS, and creating a caring and cohesive community.”

The Parent-Teacher Organization [PTO] is an integral part of the HDS community and adds a special level of family participation and fun to life at the Hebrew Day School. Among the PTO’s many projects are:

• Spirit lunches and ice cream socials for students
• Coffee and bagels before each Rosh Hodesh celebration
• Providing a Shabbat snack for the teachers every Friday
• Shabbat Dinners
• Class Social Gatherings
• Teacher Appreciation Events and Gifts
• Lag B'Omer Celebration and Bonfire
• Lifecycle Event Recognition
