Their turn to serve: Fifth-graders do good deeds for war veterans
Twelve fifth-graders from the Hebrew Day School of Ann Arbor, Mich., decided that this holiday season they wanted to give back to the residents in their neighborhood in Michigan who had given the greatest service to the United States: the veterans.

ANN ARBOR, MI – Hebrew Day School’s student musicians had the chance to play alongside Brooklyn orchestra The Knights last week. The Knights were accompanied on Monday, Nov. 13 by special guest Israeli mandolin virtuoso Avi Avital, who performed the day before at Rackham Auditorium as part of the University Musical Society’s concert series.
